The Scoundrels are a cover band from Syracuse, NY, comprised of an eclectic group of musicians whose mission is to spread joy and love through their music, which is a fusion of rock, blues and funk.
The Scoundrels create a joyful, toe-tapping experience at their shows, covering songs by classic rock and blues bands like Van Morrison, The Rolling Stones, Freddie King and Jimi Hendrix. They play at local venues throughout Central New York, and also at private parties and benefit shows.
I worked with the band to create a logo that captures their rock and roll, joyful and bluesy vibe. Inspired by vintage blues and rock concert posters, The Scoundrels logo features custom lettering that is bold and loud with a little bit of funk.
